- Military Nursing Service Recruitment 2023
* The Military Nursing Service is inviting applications from female candidates who have completed their M.Sc. (Nursing)/P.B. B.Sc. (Nursing)/B.Sc. (Nursing) for the grant of Short Service Commission. Interested candidates can submit their applications online until December 26, 2023. Educational Qualifications:
* Candidates should have graduated in M.Sc. (Nursing)/P.B. B.Sc. (Nursing)/B.Sc. (Nursing) from a recognized university with valid INC accreditation.
* They should also possess a valid registration certificate from a State Nursing Council as a registered nurse and registered midwife.
* During the interview, candidates are required to produce original and self-attested copies of their mark sheets, degree certificates, and a valid State Nursing registration certificate.
Age Limit:
* Candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 35 as of the specified date for application submission.
Physical Fitness:
* The medical fitness assessment will be conducted according to the military standards set for applicants.
Selection Process:
* The eligible candidates will undergo a computer-based examination, which will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 14th January 2024, at selected centers across India.
* The computer-based examination (CBE) will comprise multiple-choice questions based on nursing, English language, and general intelligence.
* There is no negative marking. The qualifying marks for the CBE are 50%. Candidates can check their scorecards on the NTA website at www.nta.ac.in.
* A list of shortlisted candidates for the interview, based on qualifications, will be published on the Indian Army's website at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and the NTA website.
* Interviews will be conducted in Delhi for the selected candidates in the required number, as per the availability of vacancies. Following the interview, candidates will undergo a medical examination. The entire interview and medical examination process may take 3-5 days. Accommodation arrangements will be made for the candidates.
