Bhilai Steel Plant Recruitment 2023: on 25 Vacancies

The Bhilai Steel Plant is seeking applications from qualified doctors who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below, to be appointed as General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs)/Specialists/Super Specialists on a contractual basis for their hospitals, including health centers and mines in Bhilai. Interested candidates can apply for the walk-in-interview until December 21, 2023.

 Educational Qualifications

Candidates must be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the State Medical Council (SMC) or hold a valid practitioner license and be registered with the State or National Register, as applicable. Apart from the aforementioned essential qualifications, relevant work experience will also be considered for the selection process. The qualifications and work experience, if any, will be taken into consideration until the date of the walk-in interview.

 Working Hours

As mentioned earlier, the working hours will be a minimum of 8 hours per day or 48 hours per week for six days in a week. In addition, if the engagement is for less than 48 hours per week at 8 hours per day/48 hours per week, the rates will be proportionate. The monthly rates will not exceed the maximum prescribed limit for the respective category.

 Responsibilities

The appointed doctors will be responsible for providing their services in emergency situations or as and when required, even beyond their normal working hours. Additional remuneration/benefits will not be claimed for such circumstances/extra hours worked.

 Selection Process

•           Document Verification: Only candidates who are eligible as per the document verification   committee will be allowed to participate in the interview.
• Interview: For the final selection, a merit list will be prepared in descending order of total marks obtained in the interview for each discipline and category.
