Educational Criteria and Experience:-

For Professor:

* Educational Qualification: Medical qualifications as specified in Schedules I & II or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Medical Council of India Act, 1956, alongside postgraduate qualifications like MD/MS or equivalent in the relevant field.
* Work Experience: A minimum of a decade in teaching and/or research at a reputable establishment with a valid MD/MS degree.

** For Additional Professor/Associate Professor:**

* Educational Prerequisite: Equivalent to that of a Professor.
* Professional Experience: A minimum of 8 years in teaching and/or research following the completion of MD/MS.

**Assistant Professor:**

* Academic Qualifications: MD/MS or its equivalent in the relevant area.
* Experience: A minimum of 3 years in teaching and/or research post the suitable MD/MS qualification. For candidates with D.M./M.Ch qualifications, no prior experience is mandatory.

**Age Requirement:**

* Professor/Additional Professor: Should not exceed 58 years.
* Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Age limit set at not exceeding 50 years.
